I received professional piano training in Poland, the home of Chopin, and worked as a resident pianist at the Polish National Opera.

Since then, I have performed recitals in Europe and other parts of the world, gaining extensive experience as a professional pianist and teacher.

Over the years, I have taught more than 300 students, ranging from children as young as five to adults in their seventies, from more than 30 different nationalities.

Drawing on my extensive performance and teaching experience abroad, I provide personalized instruction tailored to each student's individual personality, level, and goals.

Lessons are available for everyone—from children who are touching the piano for the first time, to students preparing for competitions, music high school or university entrance examinations, and those who wish to study classical piano at an advanced level.

Whether your goal is simply to enjoy playing the piano or to achieve a high level of musical proficiency, each lesson is individually designed to support your personal goals.

Profile

HIROKO NAGAI	Born in Niigata, Japan, Hiroko Nagai began studying the piano at the age of three. After graduating from the Music High School attached to Kunitachi College of Music and the Piano Department of Kunitachi College of Music, she studied at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Poland, where she completed the postgraduate program with the highest honors. Following her studies, she worked as a resident pianist at the Wrocław National Opera in Poland. She has received numerous awards at competitions in Japan and abroad, including a Special Prize at the Ibla Grand Prize International Music Competition in Italy. She has performed recitals in Poland, Germany, Italy, France, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Japan, and other countries. She has also organized numerous charity concerts in Japan and abroad, actively contributing to society through music. She has studied under Mitsuhiro Kobayashi, Takako Ohara, Kazimierz Gierżod, and Jerzy Sterczyński. As an educator, she has taught more than 300 students from over 30 countries and diverse cultural backgrounds, ranging in age from 3 to 70. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience.
Message	I am also a mother of an elementary school-aged daughter, and I understand how important it is for children to feel comfortable and safe when learning music. Young children are very welcome at my studio, and parents can feel at ease knowing that each lesson is carefully tailored to the individual child. Complete beginners are also very welcome. No previous piano experience is necessary. Whether you would like to learn delicate musical expression, how to produce a beautiful tone, how to shape a musical phrase, or how to use your arms and hands effectively at the piano, I will guide you step by step according to your individual needs and goals.
